Commandment is to "Love the Lord your God", yet 1.6 billion people in the world cannot
obey this commandment, because they have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.(1)
This is why the Great Commission of making "disciples of all nations" is so important. God
desires to be glorified in all the earth and to give eternal life to all who believe in the Son.
Allowing for this to happen is the task that has been charged to the Christians of this age.
We are responsible to God to see His name glorified in all the earth, which will in turn bring
salvation, blessings, transformation, and the ushering of Christ's return. Since this task is so
essential to the body of Christ, it is imperative that we Christians understand what God is
doing in the world today and how everyone of us fits into the task of the Great
Commission. Unfortunately, the average Christian is ill-educated when it comes to
understanding the Great Commission and the status of world evangelization. This is
primarily because the landscape of the mission field has changed dramatically in the last few
decades with the focus on the last remaining unreached people groups, the North to South
shift, the West to East shift, the explosion of the national missionary movement, the
two-thirds world missionaries, technological advances, and various global issues. The
features at this site will seek to shed light on various aspects of modern Christian missions
and educate believers so that we may all work as one body to see the Great Commission
